A Word About Us
Joining a church can mean many things to many people. Some seek out God and community when they feel they have lost their way, or are seeking a deeper purpose, or are looking for a way to connect to their family and cultural identity. But it is our belief that the Church, at its core, is about finding love and beauty through God and God’s work.

At Rhema Community Church, we inspire individuals of all ages and backgrounds to bring the Lord Almighty into their lives at every moment - moments of joy, moments of despair, and even those moments in between. Our Core Values
OUR
TENETS OF FAITH
We believe that the Bible is divinely inspired by God. It is faultless and is the sole and final authority for all matters of our lives (2 Tim.3:16, 1 Cor.2:13)
We believe in the eternal Godhead who has revealed Himself as one God existing in three persons: Father, Son and the Holy Spirit (Mat.28:19, 2 Cor.13:14)
We believe that God has created man but man sinned and became spiritually corrupted. He is now unable to attain God’s righteousness as a result of that Fall (Rom.5:12,18)
We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, the Saviour of all men, conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary. He is totally God and yet, totally Man (Lk.1:26-35, Jhn.1:14-18, Is.7:14, 9:6)
We believe Christ died for our sins, was buried and rose again on the third day (1 Cor.15:1-4, Rom.4:25)
We believe in the bodily ascension of Jesus to heaven and that He is coming again a second time for His Church (Jhn.14:2-3, 1 Thess.4:13-18)
We believe in the salvation of sinners by grace, through repentance and faith in the work of the cross (Eph.2:8-9, Heb.9:12,22)
We believe that water baptism by total immersion in the name of the eternal Godhead is necessary in order to fulfill the command of our Lord Jesus Christ (Mat.28:19, Acts 2:38, 19:1-6)
We believe in the baptism in / with the Holy Spirit as a real experience at salvation or after that. Believers can then speak in tongues as the Spirit gives them the utterance (Acts2:1-4, 8:14-17, 10:44-46)
We believe that the operation of the gifts and the ministries of the Spirit that are listed in 1 Cor.12-14 and Eph.4 are still relevant for us today.
We believe in the Spirit-filled life, a life of purity and holiness in the fear of God (Eph.5:18, 2 Cor.6:14, 7:1)
We believe that miraculous physical healing and deliverance in the name of Jesus is still for us today (Acts 4:30, Rom.8:11, 1 Cor.12:9, James 5:14, Mk.16:17)
We believe in the taking of Communion, or the Lord’s Supper, for all born-again believers (1 Cor.11:28-32, Mat.26:26-28)
We believe that the Devil is a real spiritual person who will eventually be judged with his angels in the Lake of Fire (Mat.25:41, Rev.20:14-15)
We believe in eternal life for the righteous and eternal punishment for the unrighteous (Jhn.5:24, 3:16, Mk.9:43-48, 2 Thes.1:9, Rev.20:10-15)
We believe that there is one true universal Church that is made up of genuine believers. However, this one universal Church is composed of many local churches in different localities (Acts 15:22, Mk.9:38-40)

To Be Like Christ, To GLOW For Him In Church And In The World And To GO And Share About Christ Wherever They Go,
So That God Will Be GLORIFIED
